Supervisory Management Development Programme: Africa region roll-out

1st July 2008

The roll-out of the Supervisory Management Development Programme (SMDP) took a major step forward in the Africa region during June/ July 2008 following workshops in Midrand and Secunda. The SMDP is an early career learning and development intervention, combining training workshops with job rotation in a fully mentored process, and available globally within Kentz facilitated by Corporate Learning Consultants Ltd.

Following the workshops the focus is now on ensuring required job rotation, essential to building understanding of the organization and ensuring appropriate experience on which to make career decisions.

The Mentoring workshop brought new mentors into the system to build capacity and enabled "mentees" to understand expectations.
