Research showcase at London Metropolitan University Business School
22nd May 2008A research showcase event was held at the business school of London Metropolitan University on May 22, 2008 by the Marketing and Communications Subject Group.

Roger Bennett (pictured) was the closing speaker.
A welcome address was provided by Bob Morgan, Head, London Metropolitan Business School, with short research presentations then being made by faculty members. These were:
- Rehnuma Ali-Choudhury: Internationalization of charities;
- Graham Hankinson: Managing destination brands;
- Barry Dwyer: Branding the city, the industry and the film;
- Diana Luck: CRM: the changing dimensions of customer relationships;
- Ruth Marciniak: An autoethnographic approach to examining electronic retail development;
- Donald Norberg: News and corporate governance;
- Michael Kourtoubelides: Comparative study on branding of banks;
- David Ward: The value and role of branding in UK commercial insurers; and
- Roger Bennett: Second gift behaviour of first-time donors to charity.
Dr Eric Sandelands of Corporate Learning Consultants Ltd, an external examiner of the university, was invited to participate in the event to help better understand the research agenda of the business school.
