Embedding mentoring in the Middle East

Follow-up mentoring workshops were conducted by Corporate Learning Consultants in the Middle East to embed the process and introduce mentoring systems following a successful introduction in May 2007.

The two day workshop was conducted at the Diplomat Hotel, Bahrain, September 19 and 20, 2007. The workshop was primarily interactive, as solutions were sought to making mentoring “stick” in the Middle East, with mentors themselves engaged with the decision making process. This was facilitated through plenary sessions and small group work, as pictured above.

Following the workshop plans were put in place to significantly expand mentoring within Kentz Engineers and Constructors within the Middle East region, widening the scope of who should be invited to both mentor and be mentored.
