A case study entitled “Building better futures: leveraging action learning at Kentz Engineers & Constructors” was presented by Takis Karallis (Kentz Group HR Director) and Eric Sandelands (Director, Corporate Learning Consultants Ltd) to an audience of academics, specialist consultants and senior managers at Henley Business School, UK at their second international action learning conference Action Learning: Assessing the Value, March 29 – 31, 2010.

The conference was held at the Greenlands campus of Henley Business School.

The Kentz case study was one of only a small number accepted from practitioners; Nokia and the British National Health Service being among the others. The conference brought together some of the best known thinkers in the action learning field, including Prof. Mike Pedler of Henley Business School and Prof. Michael Marquardt of George Washington University whose books Action Learning for Managers and Action Learning in Action have informed our practice in Kentz and elsewhere in our client work.

The Kentz action learning case study will be published in the journal Action Learning: Research and Practice. Takis and Eric were able to meet the editors to discuss the final version of their article.
