First managers graduate from The Emerald Academy

More than 30 managers graduated from the first certificate programme run within corporate academy of Emerald Publishing Group Limited. At a ceremony held at Victoria Hotel, Bradford, UK on July 24, 2006, Prof. David Weir, Professor in Intercultural Management, CERAM Sophia Antipolis, France made the awards to the successful candidates. Pictured below are some of the successful managers at the ceremony.

Managers worked in teams of four on corporate projects designed to achieve corporate objectives. These included developing the company’s blogging policy and approaches to social communications technologies, creating and managing an online help and support centre, and the further development of positive approaches to disability at work. The certificate forms part of a learning pathway to Masters.
