Emerald Academy presentations and awards, Cottingley, UK

Dr Keith Howard (pictured below), founder of Emerald Group Publishing Ltd chaired the presentation and graduation day for participants in Emerald Academy Set 4. The event was held at the Ramada Bankfield Hotel near Cottingley in West Yorkshire, UK on September 9, 2009.

Participants on the programme research corporate projects in teams, with this year’s teams focusing on:

  • Completing the Emerald total reward package;
  • Abstracting and indexing knowledge sharing;
  • Teaching Emerald content;
  • ET: Emerald Together (social network);
  • Enhancement of Web support pages for regional stakeholders;
  • Incentivizing practitioner authors to deliver “research you can use”.

The programme is facilitated by Corporate Learning Consultants Ltd who extend thanks to sarah Gilbert and Martin Fojt for organizing this year’s action learning programme and process.
