Communication skills enhancement course, Doha, Qatar
August 2010A Communication skills enhancement course (SEC) was held at the Ramada Plaza Hotel, Doha, Qatar, August 4 & 5, 2010.

The course blends theory and practice to examine and seek practical solutions to real communications issues that participants face at work. Martin Walsh, Kentz Country Manager in Qatar shared his experiences with the group in order to promote good practice.
The subjects addressed were:
- The communications challenge;
- Managerial communications (including an interview with Martin Walsh);
- Interpersonal communications;
- Communications barriers; and
- Personal communications action plans.
Among the responses from participants captured within the evaluation questionnaires were:
“The interview with Martin Walsh was excellent in giving insight into the
company and how much the company has developed through the
years.”
And:
“I felt that the course worked on a few different levels and the subject matter opened the minds of the people working on it to different solutions to problems. I felt that I learned more of the people around me through the course.”
