Action learning projects, Dubai
2nd June - 6th June 2008The 2nd MBA action learning set within Kentz Engineers & Constructors, completing a programme of study delivered by Corporate Learning Consultants Ltd for IMCA, recently held their third and final workshop at the Metropolitan Hotel in Dubai from the 2nd June to 6th June 2008. This final workshop guides the participants on the start of their dissertation – their action learning projects. Dissertation topics being researched focus on strategically important areas sponsored by Kentz senior management. Topics selected focus on:
- Engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) implementation
- Kentz value chain
- Corporate and regional decision-making
- Project controls

Shane Dooley-Cullinane, Country Manager for Kentz in Abu Dhabi and a graduate (with distinction) of the first internal MBA Set, addressed the group on his research outcomes and process. He was also available at different times to informally advise current MBA associates.
