The editors of the Stokesley Scene Collection: Life in a Yorkshire Market Town would like to thank all who visited them and bought books for making the book launch such a success. The book launch was held at Stokesley Show on 20th September 2008. The book, which tells the story of life in the town through the experiences of the people who live and work there, was launched within the marquee hosted by Stokesley School. Thanks go to Mrs Catherine Brooker (Head Teacher) and Mr Tim Dunn of the organizing committee.

According to Andrew Grass, one of the book’s editors, "It was especially pleasing to meet so many of my teachers from when I attended the school in the 1970s and early 1980s. It was great to catch up and to share memories of many of the people featured in the Stokesley Scene Collection."
