Learning Process
Case study: Developing graduate engineers
Action learning has been proven to yield results, often outstanding results, for some of the world’s most admired organizations. Jack Welch used the process in GE, others have used it in organizations as diverse as Sodexho, Kentz Engineers & Constructors, the City of London, Exxon and many, many others.
The process relies upon dedicated people, working in small groups to solve organizational problems. However, this is combined with a focus on achieving learning outcomes.
To be successful, CLC will work closely with clients, ideally involving key specialists and decision makers in the learning process.
Action and reflection is built into the workshops, a feature of which is high levels of participation. Within the development programs, candidates are required to address major challenges at work and work through into implementable solutions. The development of corporate academies/ corporate universities embed these processes within the fabric of the organization..
