Dr Peter McGee

Specialist consultant: Culture & communication

Peter McGeePeter McGee has extensive international experience in the fields of culture, communication and linguistics. Educated at Liverpool University, York University, the University of London and the University of Cambridge, Peter’s career has encompassed leading roles with the British Council, the University of Westminster and the University of East London.

Peter is in demand as a consultant and speaker around the world. His client work has included the Italian Parliament, the Milan Stock Exchange, insurance company Allianz, the UK Ministry of Defence, the diplomatic services of various nations, and some broadcasting work for the BBC.

Dr McGee has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. In 2007 he was awarded the Chenggis Khaan Medal by the Mongolian Government for services to education. In 2008 he was appointed Visiting Professor of Linguistics by the Beijing University of Technology.

Among Peter’s specialist interests are business communication and managerial communication.
